
A mass of Christian burial for Pauline Trichel Pardee, 85, of Black Lake, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, with Father George Pookattu officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Rosary/Pardee Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 14 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home. Mrs. Pardee was born Jan. 27, 1931 in Campti and passed away Dec. 12, 2016. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 62 years, Pat Pardee; parents, William and Gustine Trichel; brothers, L.Z. Trichel Sr. and Julius Trichel; sister, Everlou Trichel; grandsons, Jamon Creamer and Seth Higgs. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Creamer and husband, David of Black Lake and Sherry Wren and Kenny Wilber of Black Lake; brother, Mack Trichel and wife, Doris of Black Lake; and sister, Gracie Long and husband, Frank of Bossier City; two grandchildren, Eric Creamer and wife, Heather of Natchitoches and Andrea Rachal and husband, Trey of Campti; four great-grandchildren, Kadence Creamer, Jaycie Creamer, Alayna Rachal and Aubree Rachal. Pallbearers are Monty Trichel, Andy Trichel, Brian Long, Jeremy Long, Chris Grillette and Scott Trichel. Honorary pallbearers are Chubby LeBrun, L.Z. Trichel Jr. and Adam Guin. Special thanks to nurses Karen, Kim, and Kathy, and all the loving and compassionate staff of Courtyard of Natchitoches and Hospice of Natchitoches.
