Graveside services for Ruth Ann Procell, 77, of Natchitoches, were at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at Immaculate Conception Cemetery with Father Blake Desshautelle officiating. Services were under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home in Coushatta. Mrs. Procell was born Sept. 21, 1938 in Lake End and passed away Aug. 13, 2016. Mrs. Procell always looked forward to the holidays and their festivities. She thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas decorations and the music that came along with the season. She had a special friend for many years, her Siamese cat Suki, that brought many hours of entertainment and companionship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Procell; daughter, Kim Procell; parents, Elmo and Mary Moore; half-sister, Gladys Stephenson; and two brothers, Roosevelt and Willie Moore. Mrs. Procell is survived by one daughter, Beverly Procell of Baton Rouge; and her longtime friend, Jeanette Carter of Jamestown. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of Courtyard of Natchitoches and Hospice of Natchitoches and especially to Dominick Metoyer for his special loving care.
