A memorial for Frances Ann Hollis Brister, 73, will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 20 at the Harmony Baptist Church. Spreading of the ashes will be held at the Brister Family home on Zerie Brister Road immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Brister died Feb. 5, 2016 in Belton, Texas. She was born July 11, 1942, in Leesville to Jack and Eva Dell Hollis. She had a love for her special companion, her small Chihuahua Cinnamon, puzzles, card games, Bingo and her friends. Mrs. Brister was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Alton "Frog" Brister and brother Dan Hollis. Survivors include her two sons, Bob and daughter-in-law Gaby Gresham; Alton "Bo" and daughter-in-law Jo Brister; and daughter Eva and son-in-law John Powell; seven grandchildren, Sheila Gresham, Sarah Smith; Dannelle and Kyle Garcia, and Lauren, Christina and Jack Powell. She is also survived by her brothers Jack Lee and Bill Hollis; and two sisters Linda Collins and Bonnie Dunn. Following the service and spreading of the ashes therewill be a luncheon served at Harmony Baptist Church. Everyone is invited so that we can remember Frances's extraordinary life and how she touched us all.
