After retirement, to stay active he was a greeter at WalMart and was known as “Mr. James.” Raymond loved to fish and play music; he was especially gifted with stringed instruments such as guitar, banjo and mandolin but also was gifted playing the harmonica. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lana Jo Litton; a daughter, Debbie Litton of Natchitoches; brothers, Odis Litton of Kickapoo and Alton Litton; sister, Linda Litton of Shreveport, Kay Litton of Stonewall, Elizabeth Litton Tuggle of Denver, Colo., and Cheryl Litton Ebarb and her two children of Zwolle; nieces and nephews, Kim and Tim Bailey, Randy Litton, John and Mike Solice; and a brother in law, John Solice. The family would like to thank all our friends and family for their support and prayers during our time of sorrow. A special thanks to Monique Davidson and Emma Johnson that helped take exceptional care of Raymond during such a difficult time. They were so kind and compassionate to him and our family. Our gratitude to Hospice of Natchitoches and all the nurses and aids, your care will never be forgotten.
