A Mass of Christian Burial for Bobby Brent Baham Jr., known to his family as BJ, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, with the Rev. Chad Partain officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, March 10 from 3-8 p.m. and will resume Saturday from 8-10:30 a.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be in Kramer Chapel Friday at 6:30 p.m. BJ was born Nov. 27, 1998, in Lafayette and passed peacefully from this life Saturday, March 4, 2017. He grew up in Humble, Texas, and was a senior at Kingwood High School. BJ was a 4-year member of the wrestling team and the Captain of the Yell Leaders Squad. He was an aspiring filmmaker who loved to debate superheroes and movies with everyone he came in contact with. BJ loved life in general. He always had a smile on his face and could not leave a room without generating laughter. His family and friends and their times together meant everything to him. To all who knew him, he will always be our superhero. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Baham Jr; greatgrandparents, J.B. Michiels Sr. and Marie Louise Kennedy Michiels, and Fabian and Myrthlee Mathews Vanhoof; and his cousin, Logan Schmidt. Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Bobby Brent Baham Sr. (Betty Vasquez); mother, Shana Michiels; sister, Jazmin Hoffman; paternal grandmother, Connie Baham; maternal grandfather, Raymond Michiels (Ellen); maternal grandmother, Carol Wester (Richard); aunts, Christine Pappas ( Shane) and Haley Schmidt (Luke); uncles, Ben Michiels, Jeremy Michiels and Daniel Wester (Rachel); and cousins, Gage, James, Tarins, Elizabeth, Olivia, Jackson, Liam and Cora; and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Bobby Brent Baham Sr., Ben Michiels, Jeremy Michiels, Shane Pappas, Gage Miller, Caleb Ralston and Peyton Gwinn. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to benefit the Audio Visual Program, Yell Leaders Team or the wrestling team at Kingwood High School, 2701 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, Texas 77339.
