Funeral services for Micheal Ray Johnson, 64, of Campti were at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Olan McLaren officiating. Interment followed in Nativity Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 24, 1953, in Coushatta and passed away Feb. 28, 2017. Micheal was always the first one to help, to come running when any of us called, or any of his family, friends or whoever needed help, he was there. He invested his life in what matters, his kids, grandkids and family. He loved his kids and grandkids BIG!! There was never a conversation where his grandkids were not a part of it. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix and he was the true definition of a friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and “Tweetie” Johnson; two brothers, Andy Johnson and wife Nancy and Ricky Johnson; one sister, Gail Dowden; cherished in-laws, Nick and Bea Gallien; Joe and Dianne Gallien; Frank and Patsy Gullo; Linda Roppolo; and Marie Barton, Jeannie Franks and Pat Gallien. Micheal is survived by one son, Justin Johnson and wife Dana of Campti; two daughters, Jana Baldwin and husband Matt of Campti and Jessica Ailstock and husband Tony of Bossier City; seven grandchildren, Julie Baldwin, Chloe Baldwin, Sophie Baldwin, Andrew Johnson, Aubrey Ailstock, Archer Johnson and Aiden Ailstock; mother of his children, Suzanne Gallien Coble; special friend, Charlotte Walker; siblings, Linda Davis, Luther and Jean Johnson, Doyl Johnson, Janey and Truly Bozeman, Gary and Brenda Johnson, Paula Jeans, and Clay and Jackie Johnson; and his Gallien family, Jim and Nancy Gallien, Tony Roppolo, Beth and Chester Gilcrease, Jerry and Carol Gallien, Celeste and Frank Bryant, Russell Franks, and David and Janie Gallien; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Greg Davis, Russel Bozeman, Braddox Johnson, Cody Johnson, Little David Gallien, Luke Franks, Josh Franks and Dez Gallien. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Roppolo and Ronald Webb. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
