Adelice Mary “Fennie” Beaudoin Rachal, of Derry and a resident of Natchitoches, departed this earthly life Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 surrounded by her family at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Edward and Lillie Metoyer Beaudoin, devoted wife of the late Leon Rachal Sr. Loving and mother of Gustina R. LaCour, Marie R. Monette, Mary Ann R. Condi, Lillie R. Neal, Elizabeth, Leon Jr., Larry, James, Anthony, Joseph, Leo, the late John, Edward, Erwin, and Clyde Rachal and Allie R. Aaron. She is the beloved sister of Melissa B. Rachal, Lovance and Fabiola Beaudoin. She is preceded in death by 10 other siblings. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Allie Roque Rachal, 49 grandchildren, 125 great-grandchildren, 103 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and loving friends. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Natchitoches, Monday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m., with Father John O’Brien officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Cloutierville. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. in the church.
