Funeral service for Mrs. Alice Tynes will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in the Oak Grove Community of Natchitoches. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service on Sept. 3 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Tynes, 77 years of age and a long-time resident of Natchitoches, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016. She was born Dec. 4, 1938 to Joe and Vesta McChristian Pullig in Saline. She was a loving mother and will be dearly missed by her son, Barry Joseph Tynes.
