He spent many hours singing and praising the Lord. He is survived by his wife Clara Ezernach; his daughters; Wendy Armstrong and husband Mark of Birmingham, Ala., Daphney Poole and husband Gerald of Flower Mound, Texas; son Jody Ezernach of Natchitoches; grandchildren; Sarah Ezernach (Jacob), Seth Ezernach, Andrew Ezernach, Alex Ezernach, Jacob Poole, and Mackenzie Poole; sistersin-laws Alice Delacedra of Pineville, Joyce Washington of Monroe and Peggy Morris of Baton Rouge, Tina Knueppel and husband Gene of Natchitoches and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mattie Ezernach; ister; Mary Wheatcraft; niece Cathy Wheatcraft; mother-in-law Lola Mae Garsee; brothers-inlaw Larry and Robert Breedlove; nephew Brandon Boyd. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Ronnie Smith, Jason Moran, Larry Boyett, Earl Morvan Jr., Leo Delacerda and Gene Knueppel. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Armstrong, Gerald Poole and his grandsons. The family would like to thank Dr. Ardoin at Rapides General Hospital, and all of the staff and doctors at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital for their excellent care. Psalm 120: 1. In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.
