Marian Lynette Salley Ammons, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior Feb. 16, 2016, surrounded by a loving family at her home in Natchitoches. She was born Feb. 17, 1952 in Natchitoches. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vonnie and Elsie Salley, and brother, Harold Lee Salley. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John M. Ammons of Natchitoches; daughter, Joy Ammons, of Natchitoches; sister, Janice Jones of Many; nephews, Jody Robbins and wife, Mariesa, of San Antonio, Texas, Don Jones and wife, Annabel, of Natchitoches and Daniel Jones of Many; niece, Lydia Salley of Many; great-nephews, Jansen Jones and Cade Robbins; great-niece, BellaDonna Jones; and a host of friends and relatives.
