
Funeral Services for Ludie Charline Strebeck Kilgore, 73, of Marthaville, will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adrian Thompson and Rev. Jonathan Lofton officiating. Burial will follow in the Ajax Cemetery. Visitation was held Feb. 19 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many. Ludie Charline Kilgore was born Monday, Nov. 30, 1942 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 at her residence in Marthaville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Kilgore; parents, Amos and Linnie Strebeck; step-mother, Betty Strebeck; sister, Betty Lou Strebeck; brothers: David and Alvin Strebeck; great grandchildren: Lilly Ann Kilgore and Paxton Delaine Kilgore. Ludie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a faithful friend. She had a carefree personality, was happy go lucky and always smiling. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Smith and husband Terry of Tyler, Texas; son, Benny Kilgore and wife Jodi of Marthaville; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters: Lois Ann Strebeck Tillman and husband Jerry of Batesville, Ark., Patsy Strebeck Barton and husband Roy of Marthaville, Beatrice Strebeck Lofton and husband Jimmy of Natchitoches; step sisters, Marcia Simmons and husband Darren of Robeline, and Jeanette Taylor and husband Jeff of Provencal; step-brother, Billy Hammous and wife Cindy of Provencal; sisters-in-law: Gertie Kilgore of Natchitoches, and Delma Trenvio of Houston; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
