
Funeral service for Victor Leon Williams will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at L.C. Weaver Cemetery in Campti. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at Blanchard- St. Denis Funeral Home. Leon Williams, 59, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 in Natchitoches. He was born Nov. 4, 1956 to Archel Williams Sr. and Cleo Solice Williams in Pineville. Leon truly enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing and crawfishing. He was a carpenter by trade and made beautiful rustic furniture out of cedar. Some of his work can be seen in front of Trail Boss Restaurant in Natchitoches as well other business places in the parish. His greatest love was for his family. Leon was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of nearly 42 years, Cindy Brossett Williams; daughter, Shellie Williams Pace and her husband Randy; son, Jason Leon Williams and his companion Allison; brother, Archel Williams Jr. and his wife Linda. He was blessed with seven grandchildren, Dalton Pace, Dylan Pace, Abbie Pace, Kelsey Hayes Williams, Gavin Williams, Gunner Williams and Brock Williams. His mother in law, Cecelia Prudhomme and her husband Charles Jr., sisters in law, Kathy Salvesen and her husband Billy and Sonya Vaughn and her late husband Gene; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archel and Cleo Williams; siblings, Carl Williams, Betty Mae Chesson and Robert Williams; and - father-in-law, Dink Brossett.
