A service to honor the life of Reilly Cade Runnels will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Matthew Pagels officiating. The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m .on Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Reilly, 18, and a resident of Campti, and formerly of Pearland, Texas, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. He was born July 25, 1997 in Greenville, Texas to Marvin Runnels and Vali Swindle Bishop. He graduated from Dawson High School in Pearland but had previously attended Lakeview High School as a freshman and participated in JROTC. He was attending classes at Bossier Parish Community College. In keeping with Reilly’s lovingand generous spirit, it was his decision to donate the gift of life through organ donation. He is survived by his mother, Vali Bishop; father, Marvin Runnels and his wife April; siblings, Dillon Crawford, Nicholas Runnels and his wife Lindsay, Amber Stanley, Trey Stanley and Alyssa Breaud; grandparents, Pat and Jack Ferguson, Robert and Chau Swindle and Gloria Runnels; nephew, Caden Runnels; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Runnels. In lieu of floral contributions, donations may be made in Reilly’s name to Lakeview High School JROTC Program or to Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency at www.lopa.org
